Establishing an edible oil processing factory using farmers' produce, adding value to crops and increasing the Union's income.
Building two new main warehouses in the Union's operating area to increase safe storage capacity for Members' crops.
Establishing a transport fleet of fifteen (15) vehicles to ease the movement of crops and goods for the Union and its Members.
Opening a farm-input shop in each district within the Union's operating area (Kilwa, Lindi Municipal and Mtama) to ease farmers' access to inputs.
Building a modern hall for meetings and commercial use, creating an additional revenue stream for the Union.
Beyond these projects, the Union is pursuing nine (9) strategic priorities set out in its Five-Year Strategic Plan: Membership; Service management; Production and crop quality; Markets and stakeholder relations; Sustainable project and investment management; Financial and asset management; Leadership, good governance and human resource management; Sustainable use of ICT; and Environmental stewardship and community care.
